F.A.Q.

Occupational Therapy (OT) supports people of all ages to build the skills they need to do
everyday tasks with more confidence and independence.

● For children, OT can help with play, school readiness, sensory regulation, academics
such as handwriting, and self-care tasks like dressing and eating.
● For teenagers and adolescents, OT focuses on emotional regulation, social skills,
school participation, executive functioning, and preparing for greater independence in
daily life.
● For adults, OT can assist with returning to work, managing physical or mental health
challenges, improving routines, and building independence in home or community
settings.
OT is all about helping you live life more fully — whether that means thriving at school, being
confident in your social life, or managing daily tasks at home or work.

Occupational Therapy can support individuals across the lifespan, including children,
adolescents, and adults. Whether someone is facing developmental delays, neurodiversity
(such as autism or ADHD, ODD), genetic disorders (Down’s syndrome and Fragile X Syndrome)
injury, disability, or difficulties with everyday activities, OT can help build the skills and strategies
needed to participate more fully in life.

Yes. I work with clients across the lifespan — including children, adolescents, and adults —
tailoring therapy to suit each individual’s age, needs, and goals.

Yes. I accept clients who are:
● NDIS participants (self-managed and plan-managed)
● TAC-funded (Transport Accident Commission)
● Privately funded
If you’re unsure which category you fall under, feel free to contact for guidance.

Getting started is simple:
1. Contact me via phone, email, or the enquiry form on the website.
2. We’ll schedule an initial consultation or assessment session.
3. I’ll work with you (your family and other professionals) to set meaningful goals and create
a therapy plan that suits your needs.

No, you don’t need a referral if you’re funded by NDIS or TAC — you can contact us directly to
get started.
However, if you’re planning to claim through Medicare or private health insurance, a GP
referral may be required.

Yes, I offer home, school, and community-based visits where possible. I prefer working within a
person's natural environments — the spaces they live, learn, and engage in every day — as
this often leads to more meaningful and solution-focused outcomes. Therapy in familiar settings
allows for real-life practice of skills and better supports long-term success.

Fees are based on the type of service provided and the funding arrangement.
● For NDIS-funded clients, therapy sessions are charged pro rata in accordance with the
current NDIS Price Guidelines.
● For TAC-funded clients, rates may vary depending on the service and travel
requirements. Please contact us to receive a personalized quote. Fees are negotiable
and will be confirmed through mutual agreement before therapy begins
● Clients with private health insurance are welcomed to contact us to obtain a
personalised quotation. Fees will be discussed and agreed upon mutually prior to the
commencement of services. Please do not hesitate to reach out for further information
A detailed fee schedule can be provided upon request.
